Our Mission

Inappropriate use of antibiotics is a global problem that thwarts the effectiveness of these life-saving drugs. Less effective antibiotics mean that once curable infections will become more serious and potentially life-threatening. Antibiotic stewardship is, therefore, an essential component of the current global mission of managing the progression of antibiotic resistance.

Save Our Cure is a community education program that emphasizes on educating high school students about proper antibiotic usage and the threat of antibiotic resistance. High school students are largely excluded from antibiotic stewardship programs due to their relatively low antibiotic use. However, having a well-informed younger generation on the proper use of antibiotics is essential to establishing a sustainable cycle of antibiotic stewardship.

We provide flexible and age-appropriate educational resources to teachers and health professionals and makes learning about antibiotics and antibiotic resistance fun and accessible to all students.

Targeted Curriculum

Save Our Cure not only want action. We want effects. That is why our members conduct a knowledge, attitude, practice (KAP) survey on the target student population before any education campaigns.

Behavior Focused

Knowledge does not equal behavior change. That is why Save Our Cure chose to take a holistic approach with our education curriculum by integrating information about local resources to make proper antibiotic usage an easier option, not a nuisance.
